Random Fact of the Day:
Dentists have recommended that a toothbrush be kept at least 6 feet (2 m) away from a toilet to avoid airborne particles resulting from the flush.
Joke of the Day:
Knock Knock
Who's there?
Lettuce
Lettuce Who?
Lettuce in; it's cold out here!
Weather:
Cold with a high of 34 degrees. Overcast all day! Chance of freezing drizzle overnight!
Have a GREAT Wednesday!

A Note from the Director:
Wednesday, January 25, 2012
I would like to personally welcome two new interns from Heidelberg
University to the BCA community.
Dwayonna Brown is interning under the direction of Professor Neil Saas from
the Psychology Department. Ms. Brown is studying Child and Adolescents and
Women and Gender Studies. She is an AIM HEI peer Mentor and a member of HoPE
and the WLI Women Leadership Initiative. She is interning under the direction
of Mr. Hauter and Ms. Marshall. Ms. Brown will be providing small group
workshops on "Friendship" and mentoring individual students with setting daily
goals.
Kristen McKonkey will begin her student teaching for Team 2 next week. She
is an education major under the direction of Professor Terry Phillips. She
comes to BCA highly recommended by Dr. Lori Grine, a professor at Heidelberg,
one of the BCA National Honor Society leaders, as well as a parent of a inaugural honor student of BCA. Mr. Hose, Ms. Yanni and Team 1 are very excited to have her share her new knowledge with them.
Team 1 and 2 Wacky Wednesday!!
Today I had the pleasure of walking through the hallways, and witness Teams 1 and 2 classrooms during "Wacky Wednesday" learning. It was awesome to see every student and teacher engaged in fun and productive activities. Sagen from Team 3 was leading students in a contest at the board. Mrs. Paradiso was coming down the hall with a respectful bunch of artists. I was lucky enough to be one of the first to see art work of their "very own" faces! I had such a good time, I took pictures on my cell phone and will be sending them to Ms. Dickman to add to the webpage soon!
