Trust Respect and Responsibility
Yesterday a sum of money was found in the hallway. An honest student turned it in to the office. An email was sent to staff to see if anyone might ask about it. No one even had to wait to see if the question would be asked. A student came to the office and asked to go to their car because they thought they had left something out there. The office staff (knowing in the positive relationships we have with the students) asked what she had left in the car. The student replied, "Money". The student was then asked how much and answered the exact amount that was found in the hallway.
I personally want to compliment both students and the office staff. Each person involved demonstrated Trust, Respect, and Responsibility as part of our BCA community.
Team 1 Staff, Students and Parents went to Eshleman Farms in Clyde, Ohio. While there they picked apples, learned about a real working farm, learned about how bees make honey, took a wagon ride, and brought home a bag of apples of their very own! They had a great time, and it was yet again another display of great character by all of our students!
Two staff members from BCA attended the yearly conference of the Ohio Association for Gifted Children in Columbus on Monday. Ms. Marshall and Mrs. Kohler attended many professional development workshops throughout the day. They also assisted in the presentation of the following two workshops to other educators and parents at the conference:
